Launching of New Hospital Facilities and Services

The Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital (DJPRCH) launched its 2D echocardiography, digital mammography, and histopathology (tissue biopsy) facilities as well as the hospital's new supply room, computed tomography SCAN, and the expansion of their hemodialysis unit today, September 28, 2022.

City Mayor Lorelie Geronimo-Pacquiao, represented by Honorable City Councilor Richard Atendido, assured the heads and staff of DJPRCH that supporting the activities and programs of the hospital is her top priority for it to extend better service to the public.

Chief of Hospital Dr. Ryan Oscar Aplicador mentioned that the launching and blessing of the said facilities aim to lessen the burden of the hospital's manpower and to avoid transferring patients from DJPRCH to other hospitals due to the lack of programs and facilities. Also, according to Dr. Aplicador, the hospital envisions faster and more efficient processes after the launch.

A blessing also took place for the new facilities, which was attended by Dr. Aplicador, DJPRCH Chief Administrative Officer Karl Vincent Queipo, City Councilors Richard Atendido, and Elizabeth Bagonoc, Provincial DOH Officer Dr. Shahrir B. Duldoco, and heads and staff of DJPRCH.(CPIO/KAG/RSC)
